HIGHER SECONDARY (HS):
The two year Higher Secondary Course in Arts and Science is run according to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) regulations.

(a) English, MIL (Assamese) /Alt. English and Environmental Education are compulsory for both the streams.
(b) The applicant of H.S. course must select three/four elective subjects from the following list:-

N.B.- The applicant should read carefully the following rules before filling up the Admission Form of Arts Stream.
(i) He/ She should mention five/six elective subjects in the Form preference wise, so that he/she may be allowed to take any three/four subjects after counseling.
(ii)In the event of exceeding the maximum enrolment capacity, which is 180 for any subject in a class, Elective Subjects may be selected by the Admission Committee, and in this respect the decision of the Committee shall be final.
