Dear Students,
With great joy, I congratulate you on completing your qualifying courses and warmly welcome you to Tihu College. It is a privilege to have you join our family, where your dedication and the guidance of our esteemed faculty will help transform your dreams into reality.
For over six decades, Tihu College has been a beacon of educational excellence and human development. Our legacy reflects consistent achievements in academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. We are committed to providing you with an education that empowers you to thrive in a dynamic world and serves as a foundation for your success.
I am also pleased to share that recent enhancements to our infrastructure, supported by the Government of Assam, Honourable Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Manmohan Singh, and various grants, have resulted in a new Administrative Building, Central Library, classrooms, and an IT Lab. Additionally, our selection for the prestigious Star College Scheme by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, further strengthens our departments of Botany, Physics, and Chemistry.
At Tihu College, we value holistic development and actively promote student engagement. Our successful hosting of the Gauhati University Inter-College Zonal Youth Festival in 2017 exemplifies our dedication to fostering talent and achievement.
